Today I woke up feeling very summery, but the weather wasn’t summery at all in London. Regardless, I decided to ignore the rain and the cold weather and put my legs out!
I went to the Westfield Shopping Mall in West London for dinner and some inevitable shopping! Sorry for the poor quality of the photo, but I forgot my camera at home, so I had to use my iPhone.
I’ve got on my lovely Lipsy Playsuit with a zip at the front, a cute black blazer from H&M, black boots from some shop in Regent Street, and my cream handbag that I don’t know where I got it from.
I like this look because the dress is super summery and fun, but I can make it a bit smarter with boots and a blazer. I do have to admit that my legs were freezing, but… oh well!
Now onto the good stuff! I stopped by MAC (again!) and bought two ‘essentials’, if you are as into makeup as I am. First, I got some MAC wipes to remove my makeup, which I’m really excited to try. They cost £13.50 and the pack comes with 45 wipes, which I’m sure I’ll finish in less than a month. Honestly, deep down I hope they are rubbish so I don’t feel as though I have to buy them every couple of weeks!
The last thing I bought, which I’m most excited about was the one and only MAC Satin Taupe eyeshadow! I’ve wanted this for such a long time, and every time I go to MAC I swatch it, but decide to leave for another day, just because I’m sure they will never run out of Satin Taupe. But not today!
If you don’t know Satin Taupe, it is the prettiest dark brown I’ve ever seen! It has a bronzy/golden pigment to it when applied to your skin and I’m really looking forward to creating some great makeup looks with this! I’ve heard it goes really well with MAC Constructivist Paint Pot that I talked about on a recent haul post. Satin Taupe is a staple eyeshadow in many, many, many makeup bags, and it will definitely be staple in mine from now on! The refill pan costs £9.50 and the little pot is £11.50.
