Lately I seem to have been gravitating towards unconventional mascaras, and today I’ll review another quirky one, the Bourjois Volumizer Mascara.
This is another one of those 2 Steps mascaras, where you have one wand for length and another one for volume. I have recently reviewed the Rimmel Day 2 Night Mascara (click here to read it) which follows the same style with 2 wands, but I wasn’t impressed with that one, so I has hoping that Bourjois had somehow fixed whatever it was that Rimmel couldn’t do.
The packaging is pretty sleek and standard, not too bulky. My first impression was that wand number 1 (length) was very similar ro Rimmel’s, but wand number 2 (volume) was a lot thicker, so things were starting to look good for Bourjois.
Now I’ll let the photos speak for themselves.
The verdict? I like it :)
My lashes look longer and thicker, and I would definitely repurchase this mascara. The only downside is that it does clump a lot, so you’ve got to make sure you separate your lashes with a clean wand.
I wouldn’t say that this mascara steals the number 1 spot currently occupied by Maybelline The Falsies or even the number 2 spot, which belongs to MAC False Lashes, but it certainly ranks amongst the top 5.
I hope you found this review somewhat informative and helpful, and I’d love to hear what you have to say about this mascara. Feel free to leave a comment below or interact with me via facebook, twitter, bloglovin or e-mail! :)
