Rimmel Lasting Finish 1000 Kisses Lip Tint + Balm in ‘Stay Very Berry’, £6.99 | Boots
Rimmel Lasting Finish 1000 Kisses is a lip product with a lip tint on one end and a clear balm on the other end. If there’s one thing I generally dislike about lip tints is the strong alcohol smell/taste, but I think I finally found the one that doesn’t make me feel like I’m licking nail varnish remover. This lip tint has a very pleasant sweet smell and a nice cooling feeling.
Application-wise, I found it a bit tricky. The felt tip doesn’t soak up the product enough and I ended up with uneven patches where I had to put more pressure to get the product out. However, after I applied the balm over the tint, it evened out the colour and completely erased the appearance of my dry patches. My lips looked moist and hydrated without the stickiness of a lipgloss. The colour lasts for a good few hours; I felt that it lasted more without the balm. I chose the shade ‘Very Berry’ because my lips are naturally quite pigmented, so I needed a shade deep enough to stain my lips, but still look natural.
top: lip tint; bottom: lip tint + balm
Overall I’ve been really enjoying this lip tint. I keep it in my handbag for when I need a bit of colour but can’t be bothered with lipsticks and lipglosses. Have you tried Rimmel Lasting Finish 1000 Kisses Lip Tint + Balm? What other shades would you recommend?
Rimmel Lasting Finish 1000 Kisses Lip Tint + Balm is available now from Boots, priced at £6.99.
