The Night Before The Night Before Christmas: Last Minute Shopping

The Night Before The Night Before Christmas: Last Minute Shopping

Christmas Gift Sets from World Duty Free*
worlddutyfree.com

It is the night before the night before Christmas and there’s not much time left to get your Christmas shopping done! If your Christmas destination involves catching a plane out of the UK, you can still get a few good gifts at the airport from World Duty Free; even if you finished your Christmas shopping a month ago, airports can be quite boring and shopping does make time go by faster! Here are some of the travel gift sets available from World Duty Free at airports:

The Night Before The Night Before Christmas: Last Minute Shopping

OPI Passport to Colour Set: This travel set comes with 6 nail varnishes ranging from neutrals, brights to darks – from left to right, Tickle Me France-y (grey-brown), Passion (pale pink), Cajun Shrimp (spicy shade of coral), Charged-Up Cherry (hot-pink red), Malaga Wine (rich wine-red) and Lincoln Park After Dark (midnight purple). I love the mini size (3.75ml each) of the polishes because it’s easy to fit in a suitcase and anyone that likes to paint their nails regularly will be happy to have so many options to choose from. OPI nail varnishes are really good quality and this is a perfect gift set to try a variety of colours from them without the hefty price tag that you would have to pay for each full size polish.

L’Occitane Traveller’s Hand Cream Collection: This is one for the hand cream addicts out there! L’Occitane is one of my favourite brands for hand cream, and this travel set comes with 4 mini (30ml) hand creams – from left to right: Shea Butter Hand Cream Dry Skin, Velvet Hand Cream Rose 4 Reines, Cooling Hand Cream Gel and Cherry Blossom Hand Cream. They all smell delicious and you can either give all 4 of them to one person, or you can split them up and use each hand cream as a stocking filler.

Clarins Take-off Essentials: Being in a plane for several hours can be quite damaging to the skin, so this kit from Clarins is perfect to anyone that travels a lot and wants to keep their skin look good and hydrated. It has all the essentials that you would need during a long flight: a cleanser to remove all your makeup, a moisturiser to make sure your skin doesn’t dehydrate, a balm to eliminate signs of fatigue when you land at your destination, a hand and nail cream, a body lotion and an eye cream. This set was my first ever Clarins purchase a few years ago, and I think it’s a great way to introduce you to the brand without having to commit to full-size products. My mum and sister would both love this for Christmas!

Bottega Sparkling Wine: If all else fails, you can’t go wrong with a bottle of wine! You’re pretty much guaranteed to please most people with wine and this Botegga mini bottle comes in gold wrapping, which makes it extra festive.

I hope this was helpful to any of you still hoping to grab a few pressies on your way to your Christmas destination! I’m off to my in-laws tomorrow, ready for Christmas day with my husband’s family for the first time as husband and wife! Exciting, isn’t it? :) I’ll try to post as much as possible here on the blog between Christmas and New Year, but in any case, Merry Christmas to you all and whatever you do, I hope you have a lovely Christmas with your family, friends and loved ones!
