Over the weekend we had some glorious weather all over the UK, which doesn’t happen very often, so needles to say the whole country was out and about enjoying the sunshine. I was no different; a bit of sunshine on my face was just what I needed to get rid of that horrible greyness that I get when I completely lose my tan. But of course, I slapped some SPF on my face and on my lips before inviting the sun to please give me some colour!
For my face, I chose the Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua Foundation, which I have fallen absolutely back in love with, but that’s a whole different blog post; today’s post is all about the SPF I chose for my lips. I’ve been testing the Miracle Skin Transformer Lip Rewind Advanced Peptide Lip Treatment for a few days; it has UVA/UVB SPF 20, and it was designed to hydrate, restore, protect and enhance the lips. My first impressions were that, apart from having a lovely cooling feeling and a pleasant gel texture on the lips, I didn’t think much of it. It was just an ok lip balm kind of thing!
However, my opinion changed for the better when I applied this before my glamorous garden sunbathing session yesterday. I have very dry and chapped lips, and normally my lips are the first to suffer from sun damage (even with a lip balm), but today I noticed my lips were not sunburnt at all! In fact, they were softer, more defined and more plump than usual. I could only attribute this development to the Miracle Skin Transformer Lip Treatment!
I love it when I find a product with bold claims that actually delivers all of those claims, and this is one of them. Usually lip balms don’t excite me very much; they all fall into the ‘nice enough’ category, but they don’t really do anything special to my lips. The Miracle Skin Transformer Lip Rewind is the first lip treatment product I have used and noticed visible results within a very short period of time. If you’re planning to make the most of this gorgeous weather we’ve been having, make sure to place an order for this beauty before your next outing! :)
