Let’s talk semi-smart loungewear. Is there such a thing?

I’ve always been one to get ready for work, even when working from home. I find it helps me concentrate and at the end of the day, when I get into my comfies, it gives me a clear distinction between work mode and home mode.

But when my jeans are digging into my waist at 2pm, I’m finding myself getting a bit envious of the people who manage to stay productive in loungewear.

So I think I need some kind of a hybrid; loungewear that looks like workwear. Where can I find it?
Something “worky” with the most comfortable waistline ever, please. Thanks ever so much! 😂💓

The kids have been watching Disney stuff non-stop since we got Disney+ last week. Some of the favourites are Toy Story 2 and 4, Piglet’s Big Movie and Robin Hood. Nice to finally five Moana and Frozen a bit of a rest! 😂 Any recommendations for kids aged 3+? What do your little ones like to watch?

We used to nap every single afternoon before going out for dinner! 😂 Seriously, though, one good thing that’s come out of this lockdown is having more time with Matthew in the day. My son was singing this around the house today and it brought tears to my eyes. Happy tears, I mean.

To hear these words from an innocent soul, singing with such conviction, and put them into context of what’s happening in our world... it was very fitting.

There are so many of us being strong; from our #nhsheroes and key workers on the frontline, to all the parents out there keeping it together for the kids, but deep down, feeling scared and powerless.

My faith is keeping me strong when I’m weak, but whether you believe in God or not, let’s keep being bold and strong... together we’ll make it. 💛💪🏻

Toddler dilemmas: do I dress my babies up as princesses or super heroes? 😂 Today was spent embracing the simplicity of play.

The joy it brings, the opportunity for connection, learning and imagination.

That “foot off the pedal” feeling when time stands still and laughter fills the air.

Focusing on play makes me feel just right as a mum; like I’m focusing on what really matters and what they will remember in 10 years time.

Not everyday can or will be like today. Sometimes I’m not in mood for it, or adulting gets in the way, work needs prioritising and time slips away.

With everything going on right now, I like having these moments as reminders that play makes everything better. 💛
